2009 Festival Official Beverage Sponsors Our Filmmakers' Lounge is located in the Hotel Santa Fe, and is for credentialed filmmakers and VIP Pass attendees. The lounge will open at 7:30am, Thursday, December 2, for coffee and those much needed light breakfast items. Festival hosts will be there to stretch your eyelids open, exercise them and do whatever it takes to get you ready for your huge day. Beverages throughout the day in the Filmmakers Lounge will be provided Stella Artois, Silver Coin Tequila and a special wine collection with light eats pour vous! Next door in Kivas A & B, at the Hotel Santa Fe, panels and workshops will be rolling and live streaming throughtout the Festival. Smile at the camera in the Filmmakers' Lounge and get ready for that special interview from the press (lip gloss anyone ?) Each day, enhance your knowledge in film and strengthening your industry network through the panels and workshops. We blow it out with great conversations with: Ellan Kuras, Kodak's Cinematographer Tributee; Wes Studi and Tommy Lee Jones, this years Festivals Lifetime Acheivement recipients; Mark Rydell, Luminary Award recipient and director of On Golden Pond ; Dabney Coleman, the amazing character actor whose decades of work includes, Nine to Five, Law & Order, War Games; John Carroll Lynch, of Fargo, the Drew Carey Show, Carnival, CSI...plus Anna Gunn, lead actress from the Emmy Award Winning television series shot in New Mexico, Breaking Bad. Celebrate Native Cinema presented in the Santa Fe Film Festival honoring the film Unconquered: Allan Houser and the Legacy of One Apache Family with Director Bryan Beasley and the Houser Family in this lovely evening surrounded by art from the Allan Houser Collection and other Indigenous Artists curated at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (formerly know as the IAIA Museum). This evening is just plain cool fun with Sugar Lips beginning the night upstairs for that new beat and Hawk and a Hacksaw opening with the band Rusalki makes this the internationally flavored music event of the Festival. Filmmakers and our Luminaria Tributees accept top honors at the Milagro Awards Ceremony hosted by Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) and John Carroll Lynch (CSI). The show features presentations by notable New Mexicans and prestigious members of the international film industry. Open to VIP's, Filmmakers, All Festival badge holders Tommy Lee Jones, Wes Studi, Mark Rydell, Ellen Kuras, Dabney Coleman and more fabulous surprises. John Carroll Lynch and Anna Gunn are the magnificent co-hosts for this auspicious night. Milagro Awards Center Piece Party - Milagro 139, 9pm - 1am
Celebrate this seasons five starred Festival with all Santa Fe Film Festival participants and Award winners and Tributes at Milagro 139, located in the heart of historic downtown Santa Fe on San Francisco Street.
