\u201cOff The Menu\u201d is a fun lighthearted movie. It would not feel out of place on the Hallmark Channel. The movie follows Joel Flanagan (Santino Fontana), the scion of a wealthy fast food chain owning family, and Javiera Torres (Diana Ramirez), the cook of a specialty New Mexican food caf\u00e9, as they clash over some stunning food. Here comes the warning, don\u2019t see this movie on an empty stomach. The movie is beautifully shot, well-acted (especially by the excellent Makenzie Moss as Sophia Torres), and well-paced. It may be a bit paint by numbers, but \u201cOff The Menu\u201d shows a true love of New Mexican culture and cuisine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
