Bonds are tested when an estranged family is forced to unite and piece together left behind belongings and old memories as they deal with an unexpected and sudden loss.\u00a0They are forced\u00a0to\u00a0travel cross-country with each other to\u00a0piece together their memories of the woman they lost. \u00a0Whether loving or fighting, this family has the kind of bond, tangled up in shared history and storytelling, that indeed takes some time to understand. But the trip inevitably grows into a larger familial reckoning, swirling raucous memories with recounted mistakes. The powerhouse cast features Denis O’Hare (True Blood) who is also the screenwriter, Emmy Winner Ed Asner, Oscar winners Anna Paquin (The Piano) and Melissa Leo (The Fighter), and Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City).
