This unique film tells the story of the remarkable 3,000 year history of the Jewish Diaspora through their places of worship. Although millions of Jews\u00a0were persecuted or killed because of their religion and many Jewish\u00a0communities no longer exist, their synagogues should have also disappeared,\u00a0but they did not. If synagogues could speak, they would tell the story that is\u00a0embodied in Sacred Spaces \u2013 that it is in the Jewish sense of community, and\u00a0the buildings where Jews assemble that transmit and connect the Jewish\u00a0values of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.\u00a0From Temple to Synagogues<\/b>\u00a0begins in Jerusalem at the intersection of Asia, Africa and Europe, the birthplace of the first monotheistic religion, Judaism.
