Mikel-Jon West is a visual artist with a BFA in Media Arts from the University of New Mexico, known for directing the throwback to grindhouse exploitation films, Left for Dead. Mike began his career as a Promotions Editor for New Mexico\u2019s CW and My50TV, and as a background casting agent for USA Network\u2019s \u201cIn Plain Sight,\u201d and the feature film, Odd Thomas.
\nMike has since created music videos, promotional videos for performing artists, short films, and feature length films independently with his production company, Mega Ultra Studios. Heavily influenced by drive-in movie theaters and cult classic VHS rentals, Mike tries to tell stories that are visually stimulating and fun to watch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
