Director Biography –\u00a0Amanda Ann-Min Wong<\/span><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>Amanda Ann-Min Wong is a filmmaker, writer, and musician. “Swim Low” (2016), her directorial debut in fiction short film, was nominated for a Best Canadian Short Award at VAFF. A film school graduate who studied under Atom Egoyan, her film pitches “Rosa’s Flowers” and “Nonya” both landed finalist spots in national pitch competitions. In addition, she has worked on many TV productions airing on networks such as Reelz, Travel Channel, and the Oprah Winfrey Network.<\/p>\n

Originally from Singapore, she now lives in Toronto. In her free time, she loves jamming out with her queer alt-rock band, cutsleeve.<\/p>\n
