As an artist, my favourite projects are when I can combine art with a message that goes beyond style and mood\u2014compelling the viewer to ponder, question, confront, and most importantly, take action. In \u2018How Long,\u2019 Les uses his musical powers to challenge citizens of the planet to take responsibility to do their part to protect the future of a beloved earth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nStone, Esquire, The London Observer and New York Times Op-Ed pages.<\/p>\n

Photographic essays on The Homeless, People With AIDS, Texas Prison
\nSystem, Abortion Clinics, Mental Hospitals, Nicaragua, Haiti, Belfast, Mexico,
\nJapan and France.<\/p>\n

Published three books of fine-art photographs.<\/p>\n

Photographs in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in
\nNew York City.<\/p>\n

Filmwork in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.<\/p>\n

Directed music videos for Peter Gabriel, U2, Tom Waits, REM, Tracy Chapman,
\nSting, Bonnie Raitt, Ice-T, Metallica, David Byrne, and Joni Mitchell.<\/p>\n

Documentary \u201cI Like Killing Flies\u201d chosen 2004 Sundance Film Festival.<\/p>\n

Wrote and Directed the feature film \u201cFEEL\u201d which premiered on The Sundance Channel 2010.<\/p>\n

Wrote and directed the feature film, “Mugshot” which won best film at the 1996
\nHamptons Film Festival.<\/p>\n

Gold and silver medals from The Society of Illustrators.<\/p>\n

Continues to teach workshops and lectures on the craft of imagemaking at
\nschools and professional organizations.<\/p>\n

Lives in California.<\/p>\n
