Eleven years in the making, IN THE RED is a feature documentary about transformation, about growing up poor in one of the wealthiest areas in the United States and getting into trouble early on. Some find their way to a free program in Oakland, California that offers a lifeline \u2013 rigorous training to become firefighters and first responders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
