Julia Jones<\/strong> was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She is of\u00a0Choctaw<\/a>,\u00a0Chickasaw<\/a>, and\u00a0African-American<\/a>\u00a0descent.\u00a0Jones studied at The Boston Ballet School from the age of 4. She began working in commercials and local theatre when she was eight.\u00a0Jones graduated from the historic\u00a0Boston Latin School<\/a>, the oldest school in America, and later\u00a0Columbia University<\/a>\u00a0with a degree in English.\u00a0She has modelled in catalogues for Levi’s, The Gap, Esprit, and L’Oreal.\u00a0She appeared in\u00a0Chuck Wicks<\/a>‘s music video for Hold That Thought.<\/p>\n

Career:<\/strong><\/p>\n

She appeared in a number of independent films before being cast in the\u00a0Quentin Tarantino<\/a>\u00a0produced biker remake\u00a0Hell Ride<\/a>, which premiered at Sundance in 2008. She played Dr. Kaya Montoya on\u00a0ER<\/a>\u00a0in its final two seasons. In 2009, she appeared in the Culture Clash play,\u00a0Palestine, New Mexico<\/i>, at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.\u00a0In 2010, Jones was cast in\u00a0Jonah Hex<\/a>\u00a0and in the last three installments of\u00a0The Twilight Saga<\/a><\/i>.
