\"\"<\/a>Melanie Mayron\u00a0<\/a>best known for her Emmy-winning role on TV’s Thirtysomething <\/em>will be honored at the Santa Fe Film Festival’s awards ceremony for her outstanding contribution to the film and television industry. \u00a0Mayron has appeared in films such as Girlfriends, You Light Up My Life, Missing, Harry and Tonto<\/em>, and Carwash<\/em>, is the director of the feature films Mean Girls 2 <\/em>and Baby-Sitters Club<\/em> and TV shows such as Grace and Frankie<\/em>, Graves<\/em>, and Jane the Virgin<\/em> for which she also appears as a\u00a0recurring character.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, February 10th<\/sup> at 1:30pm at The Screen at SFUAD<\/strong>, Mayron will join SFFF Programmer Aaron Leventman for a discussion of her career followed by a conversation with the audience.\u00a0 Then at 3:15pm<\/strong> on that Saturday is the screening of her new film Snapshots <\/em>staring Piper Laurie (Carrie<\/em>) and Brooke Adams (Days of Heaven<\/em>) followed by a Q&A with producers Jan Corran and Leeanne\u00a0Matusek.<\/p>\n
