Meet and greet with Jim Burleson and Dameon Clarke with Six Guns Productions.  

Jim and Dameon are working in conjunction with the distribution company Inaugural Entertainment and AVOD Streaming Service Tubi  to acquire feature length films for distribution.  They will discuss what it takes to get your film distributed, and the business behind it, as well answer any questions you have.  They are honored to be attending the Santa Fe Film Festival and are looking forward to meeting you!


Award winning producer Jim Burleson has been in film for 20 years. Starting in Extras Casting and working numerous crew jobs,  Jim produced his first film in 2012 and currently line produces several films a year. As the hired gun for the likes of Grindstone, El Rey, Sony Television, and more Jim has grown his network to reach millions of streamers and many studios across the globe. 

Over the years, Jim has developed projects for many audiences through BET, AllBLK, and Hallmark’s diversity division. With a full production services company, Six Guns Production Services, he is able to take projects and find international distribution by mitigating costs and capitalizing on rebates, locations, and local connections as well as equity finance partners. Many companies hire on Six Guns Production Services to develop their films and deliver them to the specs of their studio or distribution partners or for him to sell directly through his network of distributors. 

As a writer, director, producer and actor,  Jim’s skill sets allow him to see every aspect of the film making process and has been able to present spec budgets for pitch packages quickly and efficiency.  Jim is currently in development with several projects along with a multi picture deal through multiple streaming services, networks, and studios.

Jim has been tasked with acquisitions for the distributor Inaugural Entertainment and will be seeking to acquire and develop projects for international distribution and streaming. 


Dameon J. Clarke is a multi-award winning Canadian-American Producer and Actor. His on camera work includes Graceland, How to Get Away with Murder, 24, Castle, Supernatural and Prison Break, and films such as How to Be a Serial Killer (Best Lead Actor NY Horror Film Festival and LA Shriekfest Film Festival) I Love You Phillip Morris and more. Clarke began acting at the age of 11 in Canada and after several years in front of the camera took a sabbatical to finish school, and work extensively behind the scenes in production.  

Dameon later returned to acting and had the great fortune to work alongside Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr. and Woody Harrelson with Director Richard Linklater in a lead role in the film “A Scanner Darkly,” which would later help launch his film and TV career. He has continued to work in TV and Film in Lead, Recurring and Guest Starring roles.    

In the V.O. space, Dameon Clarke has voiced over 200 characters in anime shows and video games, such as “Yu Yu Hakusho”, “Fullmetal Alchemist”, and the very popular “Dragon Ball Z”, voicing the iconic character Cell for which he won several awards. 


In the video game world, Clarke has received several awards for his lead role as “Handsome Jack” in the acclaimed video game series Borderlands 2, “Borderlands, The Presequel!”and “Tales from the Borderlands”. After the release of Borderlands 2, the “Handsome Jack” character was so popular, that despite having killed him off, Gearbox Software developed “Borderlands, The Pre-sequel!” to develop the character’s back story. “Telltale Games” also brought the character back for the franchise “Tales from the Borderlands”.

Dameon Clarke has extensive experience in film production as well, having served as a Director, Assistant Director, Talent Agent, and Casting Director.  As a producer, he has completed numerous feature films with more in development.  The process of film development is a passion for Dameon and he looks forward to bringing more projects to life in the years to come.
