We find ourselves in a time where storytelling is no longer a luxury, but sustenance. We need storytelling to make sense of the lives we live. We are now susceptible to stories that reflect the direction our world could go in if we refuse to act now. Audiences will expect kindness to pave the way for a brighter future, but nothing good can come from the travesty that is war, making ‘Kamerad’ hauntingly relevant to our current times.
