Narrative Feature | 94 mins. | USA
Directors: Rob Herring, Alexander Tovar
This could be called a romantic dramedy with excellent production values. Quinn, played by Alexander Tovar, who also directed, stars, produced, and wrote this satirical exposure of the L.A. culture, wants to make a film about the ups and downs of a film creator in L.A. (of course it is about Quinn himself).
Los Angeles is a main character in this film – imagine Woody Allen in L.A instead of N.Y. This is a positive approach as the acting, photography, music (also written by Tovar), and especially the writing, are all so clever, funny and quite revealing of many of the young people trying to follow their professional dreams.
Mr. Tovar has a wonderful take on personal relationships and I believe has a pretty good future ahead of him. His sense of humor truly makes this film worth seeing.
