In a post-apocalyptic, oil-starved future, a woman (Estrella) hires a guide known as a “dowser” (Victor) to coyote her across the border and through the desert to a town where stockpiles of gasoline can be found. When her guide is shot by a border patrol sniper at the fence, Estrella must complete her mission alone. Her motives? Not what we expect.
