I always follow science and technology news and I like the further development of science and technology in all its dimensions. Because I am sure that these developments will help people’s lives. But using technology is like using a knife. The knife can be used as a weapon as well as for cooking or peeling fruit for someone you love. Technology is exactly like a knife. One side is like an angel of salvation and the other side is evil. In most of the dystopian movies I have seen, technology has destroyed human life. I think that in the end, technology itself will break the cycle of progress and destroy everything. Maybe what we have achieved today existed centuries ago and technology destroyed itself and us. There has been a lot of news about putting chips in human brains. This chip gives different powers to humans. Like hearing a deaf person, or walking a disabled person. Or, for example, a person can solve complex mathematical problems in the shortest possible time, or maybe with this chip you can speak all the languages of different countries without learning the language. or thousands of other abilities. But this is the good side of the story. Thinking about these issues made the idea of the short film Chip in my brain. In my opinion, the most dangerous thing is that the companies that bring this technology to the market, by using the chip that they put in the brains of people, gain control of people and the whole world and run the world as they want. This is the bad use of the knife that will not lead to good things.
