Weisberg’s short film is a genre-bending coming-of-age story, infused with a magical quality that instantly hooks the audience. This young girl’s odyssey of self-discovery transcends age, offering a relatable journey for all viewers. The magical realist elements brilliantly illuminate her confusion as she navigates the complexities of self-discovery. The film’s authenticity shines through, allowing the young girl to feel genuine, unburdened by the weight of an adult perspective. Overall, it’s a delightful and heartwarming exploration of selfhood.
